BEST WEEK EVER

Seriously.

Well first, to start off, I GOT THE LEAD!!!!!!! I've tried out for the school play and after only two days of auditioning (compared to a week's worth) I was offered the lead along with my friend Teddy. I am majorly excited about it, as you can see! It's just so much fun and since it's my last year of eigth grade, it means alot. Sweet...

Tyler told me that he loved me. No, I'm not kidding. Stop looking at the screen like that. It's like Chris Brown's song, "Young Love". Recognize. Of course, I was thinking about it myself before he said it and it took a lot of effort to hold back from saying it, but when he did I knew I did, too! So you little girls looking for your Prince Charming (who can make an internet makeout session feel real), don't. He'll come. I promise.

And I just may be captain of the field hockey team this year. The team voted and I heard that I got a lot of them. So yay!!!

8th grade is looking good, I tell ya.

Lesson #1- Orientation Trips Are Always Worthwile

Well, after the first day of school, the 6th 7th, and 8th graders all headed to different location throughout New England for a three-day orientation trip. My group, the 8th grade, got shipped off to this boys' camp in Vermont called Hulbert. We had a blast. The first day we got there, we found out what core group we were going to be in. Core groups are groups of about 10 people, plus two counselors, that we spend the majority of the day with. All through-out the trip, we did all of these group-building activities and stuff, plus a hike and the ropes course. The ropes course was the best part of all the things we did there, especially this one ropes ride. Basically, you climb up this ladder about 30 feet to stand up on this platform, where they hook your harness up to this rope that's connected to this sloping rope. Then you walk off and it's like a roller coaster and a slide mixed into one. Lotta fun. The food was really good, too, surprisingly.

Lesson #2- Magazines Are Lifesavers

I have an addiction to them. Teen, Glamour, Seventeen, Cosmo! Girl, Girl's Life (GL), and Star are my favorites. It's amazing that I don't love them as much as I love books, and that's saying a lot. They keep me busy on those long bus rides and help me block out annoying classmates who keep saying that the movie is stupid, talkative friends who do nothing but rant on the guy behind her, and any commotion about who's kissing who in the backseats. Um...

Lesson #3- That Wonderful Guy

Screw horoscopes. Every single one says that my love life is in the trash. Hell no it isn't!!! It's going great and I've been the happiest ever that I have been in a long while. And even though every time I turn around there is yet another girl getting raped and killed because of that online boyfriend who turned out to be a creep, thank God that my own online sweetheart isn't. Tyler is the best thing ever- sweet, kind, and caring. And for the ultimate bonus that every girl wants (that I got, ha!), he's not ego-centric in the least bit!!! Score!!! Jesus must really love me to send me such a great guy. I'm holding on to him, for sure. I like him a whole lot. A lot. We even exchanged numbers (dangerous, I know, but what's life without its risks???) and I called him today and we talked for 20 minutes. It was amazing and I plan on making a whole lot more phone calls to him. We even have a phone date next Saturday night. We're watching the new Avatar movie, Secret of the Fire Nation, together.

And I like the way he answered the phone. Heehee....

And now, my 13-year-old life is complete. Well, it will be once I meet him in person this summer (or Thanksgiving or Christmas, if I'm lucky). Yesh....
